Coming up: Sensi Seeds Cannabis Art Contest

From  May 2^nd until  July 1^st 2016, the Sensi Seeds Cannabis Art Contest will take place on social media. In this contest, we invite graffiti and street artists to send us an image of their cannabis-related artwork using #sensiseedsart.

Get creative and show us your street art skills on any surface– a wall, a canvas, your car, a piano, a plant pot…. by sharing a photo of your cannabis artwork  with us using #sensiseedsart on Instagram, Twitter or our Facebook page.

Cannabis Art Contest – What’s in it for you

Contestants have a chance to win one of three prizes.

First prize

Flight tickets within Europe for two people including accommodation in the city center of Amsterdam, a package of  10 Skunk #1 feminized seeds,  and a Sensi Seeds T-shirt and cap

Second prize

A package of 5 Skunk #1 feminized seeds, and a Sensi  Seeds T-shirt and cap

Third prize

A package of 3 Skunk #1 feminized  seeds, and a Sensi Seeds T-shirt and cap

Cannabis Art Contest – What to keep in mind

In total, two rounds of assessments will take place. In the first round a specially selected Sensi Seeds jury will select three of the best art works. The decision of the professional judges is final. The submissions will be judged on:

• Quality of the artwork: characteristics such as (graffiti) techniques, the relevance of cannabis, and composition will be taken into account
• Place: where and on what object the artwork is made
• Quality of the photo: setting, lighting, sharpness, colour, composition, general appeal
• The image description field should include:
  • Name of artist(s)
  • The title of the piece
  • The place where the photo is taken
• Art pieces and images will be judged on their aesthetic qualities – composition, colour, sharpness, subject and general appeal.

After the selection by the jury, the Sensi Seeds online community will be asked to vote on Facebook and Instagram. In this round the first, second and third prizes will be decided.

After the announcement Sensi Seeds will contact the winners by private message for further details. During their visit to Amsterdam, the winner(s) will be invited to create an artwork for Sensi Seeds.
